THE ART OF WAR
Product Description
The Art of War, compiled by Sun Tzu in the 6th century B.C., is the world’s oldest surviving military treatise. Long revered as the definitive guide to strategy and tactics on the battlefield, its timeless wisdom is now being applied in the boardroom, on the playing field, and everywhere challenges must be faced. Required reading for U.S. Marine commandants, The Art of War has inspired generals from Douglas MacArthur to Norman Schwazkopf. But it has also been used by top executives, sports coaches, political strategists, lawyers, salesmen, pick-up artists, and Survivor contestants. Whatever your arena of battle, The Art of War will help you overcome overcome every obstacle along the path to success. This book will provide you the knowledge to declare war on Amazon – against a corporation who has chosen to silently and stupidly to censore the offerings online. They will not sell books that they deem as perceived ‘gay’ works. Welcome to Am-carthy-son.
This is indeed a great book, then the ancient Chinese might not fully know what to do in warfare.
But now this book as well as too many other books tells us only what to do, does not tell us how to do.
The issue of how to do is perhaps the most difficult point in any activity.
The book was very interesting. It really made look at issues in a totally different light. I love this book.
This is a good reference guide for the teachings of Sun Tzu. Straight and to the point.
Interesting read for those following the Iraq War and those who are interested in drawing parallels with the corporate world.
