Unforunately I did not receive my book due to a problem with our mail forwarding while we were traveling. The post office returned it to Amazon. Within a short time Amazon credited back the purchase price of the book back to my credit card no questions asked! I really appreciate the straight forward way Amazon does business. Thank you.
Pardon me now while I order the book again from Amazon now that we are at our home address.

Overall I was disappointed in the book, but the few gems in it made it worth my while to purchase. The quote about cats being Zen Masters made my purchase worthwhile to me. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it to others before they saw more about the book. The illustrations were great, but the content was very light. I expected more.
This book is obviously unique, simply because of the presentation. It is also written for the masses obviously. Nothing wrong with it. Many times, the only challenge I have with this type of feel good books that lack content. For that content, and keeping me sober and real, I reminded myself of the book Mylife Framework: A Model For A Successful Life Based On The Yoga Principles. This not to say that book lacks depth, it has a few very profound concepts, but I think I still prefer the profound spiritual concepts to be presented in a bit sober, sacred way rather than with cartoons. But I still loved the book, and I’m sure I’ll refer to it more than once. Definitely a keeper.
Love the simplistic humor of the book. Allows us to appreciate what we can learn from animals. So simple, and so humorous.
This little gem of a book only takes 10 minutes to read but could change your life if you understand its message and put the principles to work. This book takes the deep teachings of the “Power of Now” and condenses them into a few sentences along with comic artwork from the creator of the comic strip “Mutts”. The teachings and principles really touched me deeply. The book teaches us to learn from our pets how to live in the now. Cats and dogs do not stress and worry. They do not have egos. They have no issues from how their mothers treated them when they were kittens or puppies. They just live in the present moment they simply flow with life. They do not over think things and create mental constructs and opinions from which to judge life through, they experience life directly for what it is. Eckhart Tolle writes that he has known many Zen masters, and they were all cats. The book is not about sinking below thought, it is about rising above it. It is about rising above the endless stream of self talk in our minds and experiencing life directly with no filter on our senses. Thoughts are a wonderful tool to use, but they are a terrible master that can consume who we really are. We are not our thoughts, we are the witness of our thoughts. This book can help the real you break free.
