This was certainly not as good as some of the other editions. I was disappointed that often, I couldn’t find the upbeat moment…. or the certain something that would allow me to empathize with the writer.
If you’ve been a single mom, you know how your days go. Some days you laugh, some you cry, and some you just need support. These stories are all that and more. The women who contribute this stories have been there or ARE there, coping, living, loving their children, learning to love themselves. I enjoyed this book. I planned to read a story each night and keep it on my nightstand, but once I started, I carried it around with me all day. I read it at the doctor’s, in the car, while making dinner, and by the end of the day, I was finished and wishing there were more stories.
